I finally turned the sewing machine on.
I put together my Sunday School craft for this weekend. I’d like to take credit for it but KC Quilter gave me the idea. I just tailored it down to make it easy enough for 4 year old kids to make. It's a Hershey's candy bar on the inside.
I’ve made a pact, no quilting until I get my junk moved into my cabinet that I’ve had since September. You know how it is, Working full time—there’s always one more project to complete before you take a break.
What the game plan for the weekend? We have dinner plans with friends New Year’s eve, but it won’t be a late night. And there’s always laundry to catch up on.
I better head out to work.

I spent most of yesterday doing some cleaning and decluttering so now I can spend today doing some sewing. It does feel good to get those chores done.
Oh now won't the 4 yr olds love that project! It is way cute!
Those candy bars are so cute, are the fabric, give us the scoop. How did you do it?
Love the candy bars. I'll have to file those away for next year.
That is just too cute! That would be such a great thing for the little ones.

what a great project !
WE are planning a quiet new years eve, which is just fine with me
So glad the little Hershey snowmen worked out for you. The four-year-olds should love them! Have a great New Years!
Chocolate is always a good idea! Please share the instructions.
That project will be such fun for the kids to work on (or already was I'm sure!). It sounds like your Christmas season was filled with love and laughter (even with the whole "learning lessons" phase -- which, yes, you have to do. And, really, she'll thank you for some day even when it's hard on Mom). Here's hoping your new year is filled with joy, love and lots of stitching!
The candy bar project would be so much fun. I received a snowman just like yours as a gift - fun!
I'd love to see that snowman table runner :)
