Carolyn's Quilt...

We went hiking in the snow for quilt photos...Here is the quilt I made for My new Friend Carolyn...

I've never made quilts with purple.  Don gave me a stack of purple pieces for my birthday back in March.  When I met Carolyn -- a couple of months ago -- I new the fabric was meant for her.  Carolyn is dating Eric...

She's a special girl...

I have all my kids home and we're celebrating Christmas with them.  It's not a date on a calendar, It's a date in your heart.

For years we celebrated Christmas on the second Thursday in December - those were some of my favorite Christmases.

I like how you used the purple. I'm not a purple-y person, either, so it's good to see what it's supposed to used for! LOL It turned out lovely!

beautiful quilt. And what a snow. That is a white Christmas. I've been to upper Michigan 4 years ago. It was in September, and it started snowing. In our country it usually snows in Januari/februari.
Thank you for visiting me at my new blog.
