Here’s a photo from Sunday--- 5 inches of fresh new snow. We got Eric back to school for the next semester and Chelsey is facing finals beginning today.
Over the weekend I made 16 more blocks on my red and green quilt. So I have 32 completed with 32 more cut out. Last night, Chelsey had night class and Don got called back into the office, so I stitched all of the four patches together.
I’m thinking about a couple of small borders, but we’ll have to look at it after all 64 block are together.
The Packers are a game away from the Super Bowl so life is good at our house.
Gratitudes:
1. Eric’s Safe travel home
2. Quilters checking on me after not posting in a week.
3. The hum of my sewing machine- I never take it for granted.

Those four patches are the perfect way to spend an evening. And I love your buggy with the snow. Hope you have a great week. Sounds like it is off to a good start.
Ahhhhh, the beauty of freshly fallen snow. There is nothing quite like it.
Your living is a winter wonderland. My daughter is a HUGE Packers fan. I'll be she is doing the happy dance too!
Good to have you back!!!
We have fresh snow here too. Your blocks - and your progress on your quilt look great. Such pretty fabrics. I too think it is going to be a great year for you.
No snow here in Berlin/Germany thats why I like your photos!!!
That snow looks beautiful but definitely v-e-r-y cold. The quilt is looking lovely.
Oh my - that snow just looks beautiful . . . wish I could come over and make a snowball or a snow angel or something *s*
Go PACk! Hope they make it! It is so huge around here right now. Everyone is so excited.
Love the colors for this quilt so much.
Go Packers! Bret looked great on Saturday. I think they'll beat the Giants, but I don't think they will beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
Interested in placing a bet on the outcome of the game?
You HAVE been busy, haven't you! Looks great. I can't wait to see the finished product.

The pictures are beautiful. Makes you not mind having the snow, doesn't it?
Glad your back and have time to quilt, great snow photos. I am a Seahawk fan, so kinda bummed.
OH I LOVE that picture of the snowy wagon in your front yard. Picture perfect.
Hugs - Karen
ive just discovered your site. It is gorgeous!!! The snow picture is the poicture I have in my head when I think og a country Christmas in the US and I would love to see it for real!! Ah well. Sitting here, quilting in temperatures that are meltable and hearing my children splash in the pool with my hubby as I stay inside sunburnt from yesterday I really want that snow and that view of yours. Cheers from Cheery Cherry
Sounds like a good day even with the snow. No snow here -- though we are supposed to get some soon. I'll take that over the sub-zero wind chills they are also predicting.
Beautiful snow! Sometimes I really miss it. :-)
I'm glad you a little time at your machine. :-)
You're really coming along with your red and green quilt. The snowy weather is a perfect excuse to stay inside and sew!
beautiful snow pictures. can't wait to see how your quilt is progressing
I can't wait to see those blocks all put together. Love your fabric choices... call me a little bit biased LOL
