Hop to it Block Eleven----

My humility block..... I don't know what I was thinking.  I cut it out right after Christmas-- a little tired of the whole green/red thing I guess.  I tried dressing it up with alternating thread colors(which were tough to find!!!)  the light green leaves were supposed to be on top of the vine-- I realized after the fact.  Well, no one ever accused me of being perfect I tromped out in deep snow for this picture.  Oh-- and the block is going in the quilt regardless.  It reminds me of all the above.  Sometimes great colors just don't go together.  Most of my quilts are displayed from a rack or my quilt ladder.  I've been contemplating rearranging the blocks of this quilt that I'm doing with Sue and Mary--- This pretty much seals the deal.  It's OK if everyone doesn't see this block.

I can still laugh at the snow in this photo...an this quilt block.....

Happy Monday Everyone....

It looks fine from here. Really! Looks like you've had a bundle of snow. I know Dolly wishes she were there.

I saw the picture first and then read about the leaves. I did not notice it when I first was looking at the picture so I don't think it is a big deal. It will just be a quirky block that you will notice much more than anyone else.

You know what, I really like the block. I do agree that sometimes lovely colors just don't want to play well together, like with my red house blocks, but I really really do like your block. Your tablerunner in the previous post is wonderful. I too have Wal-Mart fabric in my stash, quite a bit of it actually, but hey, one works with what is available, right? ;) I hope you have a wonderful trip to Omaha. Safe travels.

Hmmmm, I commented but it didn't show.

Anyway, the block is wonderful. I'm sure it'll work itself in and be just fine.

it is going to be just fine with all the other blocks in the project, just you wait and see! Join me in erasing perfection from our vocabularies :-)
that way we'll just enjoy our projects all that much more! Happy stitching

Hi Melanie came across your blog and love your style, especially the quilts. The block looks great and will probably look great when it all goes together. Susie x
