Moms Just Know....

My folks don't know about the stresses in our lives lately. They don't believe in the internet and living far away and with my acting skills over the phone they have no clue the job stresses were facing. But look what surprised me in the mail yesterday:

I think my Mom probably knows something's up--- just not what.... but what treats. A cookbook, a bookmark and socks.

I finished my second day back at work. I feel kind of like I have wobbly knees -- just because my feelings are hurt -- but this too, shall pass.

Twelve blocks are completed on my Harvest Home quilt--- pictures to follow soon.

Monday we awoke to 38 degrees and supposedly frost -- I refused to cover anything up...just chalked it up to fate. The plants seems to fair OK.

Kind of getting a routine down...Life goes on...I don't want to waste it...

Moms do know--its that mother's intuition that we are blessed with--I hope that things work out for you soon. Have a nice day. Julie

I couldn't stand the cold this morning, it was about 5 degrees, 41F.
It must be nice to have a mom who can pick up like that, well now that you're not a teenager anymore ;)

How precious! Your mom must be a real honey.

Keep quoting some favorite scriptures and remember "this, too, shall pass."

I'm praying for you!!

It's hard to know why things happen as they do. I try not to worry myself trying to figure it all out. I know (and so do you) that our Father holds us in the palm of His hand, and we are safe there.

Definitely sounds like a mother's intuition - no doubt you have the same with your two - keep smiling Mel things will work out (((hugs)))

Moms can always sense when something isn't quite right. Then the imagination takes over and usually that is worse than what is actually going on.

It is so much fun to get a surprise package.

Hope you don't have frost anytime soon. It has been cold here in Lower MI but not like the UP.

I saw those temps on the weather map and thought of you! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you on the job front. They say it's not personal, but somehow it always feels that way. Have a good holiday!

What lovely treats from mom. Our leaves have been changing since July. I think winter is coming early this year.

What a special mom you have. Try to keep warm.... I am not really ready for winter just yet.

your posts hint at something stressful in your life.
I hope your health is not bad or that whatever it is, you find strength.
Hang in there.
