Two blocks completed this weekend. My July House sampler block looks a little off sides but after the seam allowances are taken up I think it will look fine.

My Capricorn Quilts BOM is set for July too.

It’s now the 14th of the month and I’m going to spend the remainder of the month on 3 things/ maybe 4:
Postcards
A Baby Quilt
Journey of a Quilter BOM
Connecting the blocks on my Primitive garden.

Realistically, I’ll probably get one thing done off the list unless we have an incredibly rainy July. But it’s nice to know I’m never short on entertainment.

Eric made in safely back downstate. It was hard to see him go. He was home for 5 days, but it just wasn’t long enough. Went to church yesterday. There were 9 kids in my Sunday school class. They’ll promote in about 9 weeks. You can tell they’re growing and ready to move on. You get them broke into the routine and then you have to give’em up. I guess that’s the way it is with most things in life.

Green tomatoes, green beans and inch long, and quarter size green peppers in the garden--- it’s come along nicely.

Ransom and I got 3 good walks in over the weekend. We need to get out and pick flowers for the table this evening.

Thought for the week: Value. What is Value? What do you give Value to? Have you ever been told you have Value?

My Gratitudes:
Vanilla Milkshakes
My K Swiss Tennis Shoes
My thermos of Coffee this morning—Will get me through the day

Hey - that garden is really coming to life.
Love your newest blocks - those houses are such fun. I can hardly wait to see them together.
Glad that you and Ransom got three walks in . . . take an extra for Harper and me - we are still housebound *s*

I need to get back to my Leanne's House embroidery. I have most of the blocks pieced but the handwork is so good for evening sitting around and lately that has been taken up by reading. We had both our girls home this weekend and I know what you mean about that good night's sleep.

Sounds like you had a lovely weekend, and oh how I wish I had a vegetable garden. Just didn't think about it soon enough.

You look very busy! I don't have any trouble with coneflowers wintering over here in CT and it can get pretty Darn cold! Glad your visit with Eric was good but obviously too short.

Another great block done! You're doing such a good job getting through your various projects. I'm envious of how well you manage. And I love that you hang them outside where we can see the trees or other interesting things for your photos.
It will probably always feel better when your kids are home - even after they're married and have their own homes elsewhere. It still makes a difference to me.

Lovely quilt you are working on! You've been busy! Cute bike! Glad it's working out for you! I know what you mean about loosing something you cherish! It doesn't matter what it is, it's just a bummer! Keep well!

I look forward to seeing where you are going to photograph your blocks!
What pattern are you using for the house sampler?
