Keep Life Simple....

That's the name of this quilt by Rabbit Haven.  Of course it's done in pastels and rough edged applique.  I made it my own because I had to embrace the Northwoods colors and hold onto my faithful needle turn applique.  It still needs flower centers and tons of embroidery work on the bunnies and leaves.  I tell myself not  to rush --- just enjoy every stitch...But I've had this pattern for two Springs and I just might get this piece this season. I'll keep posting the progress.

I have 2 pieces in progress---juggling each of them.  I keep thinking if I focused on just one--- I might actually have a completion...but what fun is that?

We've had a sunny day today.  I'm back to toting the GPS when I run the pups in the woods as the snow trails are gone.  I'm still looking for some sign of green...  I bought flower seeds in the grocery store Sunday amidst sleet, rain, and snow, just what the doctor ordered.

Work Rocks--- no more, no less.... We're going to be in our new building this summer. There are glass walls overlooking the Menominee River. It could be a cave and I wouldn't care--- I'm just glad I work there. I'm living proof-- to never lose faith.

Thank you for keeping the GPS with you, please take a whistle as well. My s-i-l's sister didn't survive a broken leg while cross country skiing near Boyne. A whistle could have led to her being found in time for help.

Love you wool work!!!

Like you, I juggle more than one project at a time. Then I reach a point that the project just has to be done and go gung-ho. With spring here, your new piece will probably get more attention so you can have it on display before the summer heat hits.

I love that this quilt will have embroidery on it; this is a pattern I haven't seen before until you started showing it.

We had snow yesterday but just a dusting. I think I need to buy some seeds, too. Sure would love some warmer temps.

Melanie, I LOVE this quilt! I like that you are keeping your northwoods colors too:) It's really sweet.

So glad you love your job. How awesome is that.

It was sunny here yesterday, but this morning looks almost like fall again:(
I am so ready to get out of this house and get some truly good fresh air.

Have a great day!

Bunnies always say spring, no matter what the weather dictates. Lovely.

It's coming along very nicely! And when you finish it, I'm sure you'll have more fun waiting in the wings. We are in glorious greenery here. I'm trying to store up the nice weather in my soul to carry me through the heat ahead for us.
