No negotiating, No persuading needed. You will positively love this quilt shop in Sun Prairie Wisconsin.
“Can I take a couple of photos of your shop…I promise to only write good things??”
“Sure—take as many as you want..”
I’m quite certain if I get to go to heaven one day---this is what it will look like. Coupled with the “angels” behind the counter, it made the 4 and 1/2 hour drive home worth it. If the pictures are blurry, it’s only because I was just having so much fun ‘clicking’ away… If there’s something you are interested in Just give them a call.. you can even email them one of the photos. They have a website.
The stenciling on the wall said:' Once upon a time there was enough time..."
I loved how the wool pieces were all in wooden boxes.
There were little signs peppered through the shop.
I purchased the pattern and kit for this one. It spoke to me. If you are a quilter you understand.
Quilt some tonight....

I need no convincing about looking like a good quilt shop. I like the pink and brown quilt with all the little triangles that is in the second photo. Well, I like several of the quilts. The pink and brown one looks like me, though.
That quilt shop looks like you could move right in and be happy. It is SO your style, isn't it!
Looks like an amazing shop...thank you for sharing it with us Mel...I'm heading over to the website...Wish I were closer.
What a super photo journey I just went on...thank you for sharing. Loved them all but the red/white hunter's star really sent me spinning. AND...I saw that one on another blog just a few days ago. I think one might be in my future!
I've been to that store once and it wasn't long enough. Heading there next week when I head down to Madison to see my brother. Told him that I NEED to go to JJ Stitches - not being a quilter he didn't totally get it - but said no problem. Your pictures have wet my appetite. Thanks for the tour - love your purchase :)

I totally would have picked that kit too...love it!!!! those wools look too die for!!!!!
JJ Stitches is one of my favorite shops, even though I haven't been in a few years. I used to travel to a client in Madison and tried to go every trip. They stopped having us do as much work for them and I really miss my JJ Stitches fix.
Now that is a quilt shop I could spend hours in just so I wouldn't miss a thing.
